About Frazan Adil Kotwal

Frazan Adil Kotwal a baritone from India currently pursuing his Masters in Opera at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Stuttgart under the tutelage from world renowned soprano Prof. Ulrike Sonntag. He has performed numerous recital concerts and solo performances in Germany. He is a participant and prize winner of the Fritz-Wunderlich-Society in Kusel, Yehudi-Menuhin-Scholarship “Live Music Now”. Also a scholarship holder of the Christel Guthörle Foundation Reutlingen. March 2020 he debuted as Jupiter in Offenbachs Orpheus in the Underworld in Balingen. In August and October 2020 he was selected and invited by the Brahms Society in Baden-Baden for an Artistic Residency and give an all Brahms Lieder concert. June 2021 he was selected as a Bachelor student from the Master Opera School Stuttgart to make his debut as The Landlord in Nicholas Kok’s “The Waste (no Land)”. This role was specially composed for his voice. He has one many prizes and awards most notably the DAAD 2019 award for International Student who has done outstanding Social work in Germany and abroad.
